Promoting sustainable tourism in the Turku region is one of Visit Turku's key priorities. How can each of us influence the sustainability of our own holiday or trip? Here are five tips that everyone, whether an independent tourist or those travelling for business, can keep in mind.
Through the example it sets in its own activities and operation, Visit Turku aims to encourage its partner companies to develop their own practices toward the achievement of certification in sustainable tourism. As a tourist destination, Turku views the sustainable certification as of critical importance to tourism operators in the area.
As a regional organisation, Visit Turku strengthens the region's attractiveness in terms of sustainability, through marketing communications and by offering sustainable travel and tour packages.
These booking conditions apply to group tours and programmes from Visit Turku Sales service, applicable to tours lasting 24 hours or less and without accommodation. You can order the group tour packages from Visit Turku sales simply by telephone or by sending us an email at email@example.com. To book the tour we always need the name of the group, billing address (at the point of making the order), the number of people and desired tour date and time.
