History, nature, culture and sea are the diverse elements during this two days camp school in Turku.

Day 1

The first destination – 700 year-old Turku Castle – offers much to experience. From the top floor, renaissance banquet halls and the round tower prisoner cells, to the scale models of the castle detailing its historical development through to the present day. Then you’ll become acquainted with Ruissalo island, both modern and historical, as well as the unique nature of the island. On the trip you’ll take a sightseeing tour and view the beautiful villas. You’ll visit the Botanical Garden of the University of Turku, boasting a collection comprising more than 5,000 different species and varieties of plant. During the day you will enjoy lunch.

Ruissalo Spa is a seaside resort offering wellbeing at the source of nature on Ruissalo island in Turku. Hotel is surrounded by the unique nature; it is easy to combine with activities on water and in nature. You can enjoy the spa and gym before dinner at the hotel. Accommodation in comfort rooms. 

Day 2

Next morning after breakfast in Ruissalo's nature paths a guided Nordic walking tour.
Lunch in Honkapirtti which has served as a popular resting place in the woods of Ruissalo since 1944. For lunch a traditional soup completed with oven pancake.
In the afternoon you´ll experience the old Turku at Aboa Vetus, where the excavated foundations reveal the medieval lanes of the old quarter and are left exposed for the fascination of visitors.
