The Wäinö Aaltonen Museum is the signature museum of the late Turku-based sculptor and the Turku City Art Museum. The museum's programme includes changing exhibitions, new and experimental art projects, lectures, concerts, art workshops as well themed days for children and families.

Wäinö Aaltonen Museums 50th anniversary

Completed in 1967, the museum will be calebrating its anniversary year with a number of spectacular exhibitions throughout 2017.

    The major exhibition reflects on Finland's age of independence through the works of the artist whom the museum was named after, Wäino Aaltonen.
