Turku's Urheilupuisto is located in the Turku city centre, on the east bank of the Aura.This extensive parkland holds an enormous number of places to exercise, come winter, come summer.
In addition to the Paavo Nurmi Stadium, the park boasts such things as the Karikon lenkki running track, tennis courts, basketball courts, a volleyball court, an artificial turf playing field and frisbee golf course.In the winter months the Sports Park, naturally, has its ice field and extremely popular sledding hill.
