Like Rome in Italy, Turku has been sometimes been called the seven hills city. One of the city’s most unique hills is Kuuvuori.
From Turku university village and around the Nummenpakka you’ll find the Kuuvuori hill, from the top of which you’ll find excellent views over the landscape of Turku. From the vantage point you’ll also see a picturesque area of old wooden houses.
You’ll get to the Kuuvuori vantage point by walking from the streets of Hämeentie and Keskikatu and then continuing on to the very end of Kuuvuorenkatu street. From the Suntiontie street side arise the long and step stairs that is a favourite with joggers and walkers.
