The Jokke River Train drives up and down both sides of the river! The city train transports passengers daily in summertime along the riverbank between Turku Castle and the Cathedral.
The train’s route travels past many of Turku’s cultural attractions.The train runs until end-August, you can hire the train for private use as well. City residents as well as tourists are welcomed on-board.
The train comprises one locomotive and three carriages and can accommodate 48 passengers at a time. Ticket prices are €4 for adults and €2 for children (3-14yrs) with a family ticket (2 +2) costing €10. The city train is owned by Happening Jokijuna Ltd.
Guided Train Tour 24 June-24 August, 2013.
Tours start at 4.30pm and will operate from Monday to Saturday. The price of a guided train ride is €10 for adults and €5 for children (7-17yrs). The tour is guided in Finnish, Swedish and English.
